Made in Japan. Japanese Quality - Since 1962, Sankei has been producing chassis parts under the 555 brand. As a member of the Gohsyu group of companies, Sankei is strongly influenced by the OEM manufacturing philosophy. Internationally, 555 is recognized as one of the leading aftermarket chassis brands. 555 proudly offers high quality sway bar/stabilizer links, tie rod ends, idler arms, pitman arms, control arms, and ball joints for Asian automotive manufacturers.
Safety - Suspension and steering components are critical to vehicle safety. When the time comes to replace your parts, don’t settle for lower quality. 555 offers lasting parts that retain their quality longer. When you buy 555 brand, you’re not just buying parts, you’re buying peace of mind.
Proven Durability - Automotive parts are put under constant stress from general use as well as their environment. 555 brand parts are tested against extreme temperatures, dry and humid conditions, prolonged usage, and ozone exposure. These tests ensure that all our parts have lasting quality over the course of their lifetime.
Superior Materials - Our ball studs are made of a chromium molybdenum steel alloy, while many other manufacturers use chromium steel. In addition to the corrosion and oxidation resistance offered by chromium steel, the addition of molybdenum increases the tensile strength of the steel and prevents deformation of the stud over time.
International Reputation - Sankei exports parts to 120 different countries, covering every continent except Antarctica. As such, 555 parts cover not only vehicles in North America but in the global marketplace as well.
- Polymer Bearing - 555 brand polymer bearings use a polyacetal resin that contains lubricants and durability enhancing additives. We source our resin from OE suppliers, ensuring same-as-OE quality.
- Each resin moulding is shaped with the ball stud and specific application in mind. The mouldings are designed to prevent damaging metal on metal contact between the ball stud and the socket.
- All of these considerations are implemented to create a safer and more reliable product for our customers.
- Sealed Tight - Contaminants entering a ball socket can result in serious damage that shortens the life of the part. Sankei makes every effort to prevent contaminants from entering the 555 product.
- Rubber boots are used on each 555 product. These boots are made with their installation in mind so that any change in shape due to normal installation won’t compromise their effectiveness at keeping contaminates out of the product.
