- Over 90% of turbo failures are caused by external issues. Lack of oil pressure, engine oil feed issues, and contamination ingested through the air intake and/or the engine oil are major contributors to turbo failure.
- Inspect oil feed lines for clear passages and replace if damaged.
- Replace the air and oil filters and change the engine oil whenever changing the turbocharger.
